We are brave.

Everywhere I turned this month, I seemed to encounter stories, including my own, of people working towards a specific call, producing seemingly incremental progress, if any progress at all. Experiencing what feels like obstructions beyond our control. Wondering if it’s time to throw in the towel or change course. If this is you, know that you are not alone.

I’ll spare you my astrological theories around why this is happening on such a collective scale, but I will say this: we are being called to be brave — perhaps braver than we’ve ever been.

In fact, has this not always been the call? To lean not on our own understanding, and know that time is of the ego, and that God’s timing is perfect?

We’re being called to reconsider all that we’ve ever known to be true, and decide who we want to be moving forward. We’re being called to question the steadiness and validity of our commitments. We’re being offered the opportunity to see who we truly are — what we’re really capable of.

So whatever it is that hasn’t yet panned out the way you hoped, know that we are in a state of collective purification, and that on the other side, the course will be made clear. In the meantime, be deeply present in your process. Harvest the jewels of wisdom that arise from the deep contemplation. And rest assured in the salve of Spirit’s grace.
